Fisting
by Missy on Oct.25, 2009, under Entries
Ever since I read an account of vaginal fisting by two lesbians, I was always fascinated with it. It wasn’t something I was particularly interested in receiving, but rather giving. I don’t have an extreme insertion fetish by any means, but the idea of being inside of someone up to the wrist seemed like it could be very interesting1

Misconceptions about men who see escorts
by Missy on Oct.06, 2009, under Entries
Just like there are stereotypes about why women become escorts, there are stereotypes about men who pay for the services of escorts. Just like the stereotypes about escorts, the majority of the stereotypes about clients are not true either.
They are all filthy rich
Generally when you see men in the media who’ve been caught with escorts, they are well off. While many of the clients I see are in “white collar jobs”1, there’s also a good number of “blue collar workers”2 that see me as well. The ONLY difference is that one group saves up to see me, and the other group is fortunate enough to have more disposable income.
Can a man with more disposable income occasionally indulge more? Yes. But this is actually pretty rare. All of my clients, regardless of financial status, see me around the same amount.
They are “creepy old men”
My client base ranges from 20 to 75. Most clients are between 30-55, with the average client being around 43-47. Hardly “creepy old men”, at least in my opinion. I have seen several older clients (65+), and really enjoy my time with them. I’ve not had a single client that fits the “creepy old man” stereotype. I’m sure there are “creepy old men” who see escorts, and I may even encounter one, but are they the norm? Hardly.
There must be something wrong for them to pay for sex
Is there something wrong with you because you pay someone to colour your hair? Is there something wrong with you because you get Roto-Rooter to fix your toilet instead of DIY? I don’t think so. I am of the mindset that if you want something done right, you’re better off hiring a professional than taking a gamble with an amateur.
When it comes down to it, hiring an escort is cheaper than going barhopping. Not only is it cheaper, it’s as close to a guarantee as you’re going to get. Not to mention the girl is likely to be more sober than one you pick up in a bar.
When selecting an escort, you can choose someone who fits your aesthetic preferences. You can read reviews and get a preview of whether or not you’ll be getting the most bang for your buck3. There’s also the advantage of the drama-free encounter, not having to call someone the next morning, and a true no strings attached encounter.
In short, hiring a professional is not done because there’s something wrong with the client. The average client merely wants a professional experience with no drama.
They are sleazy womanisers, and/or misogynists
Quite the opposite actually. The average client enjoys the female body almost to the point of worship. I have found my clients to be the biggest sweethearts in the world. Generally those who hate women do not pay them hundreds of dollars for their company.
They are sexually inept
No more than the average man. I’ve had clients that were amazing lovers, clients that were poor lovers, and clients that wanted to have lessons in becoming better lovers.
What I have found is that my clients are more into the idea of pleasing me first and them second. Moreso than the average man. If anything, I’d say that fact alone makes them a better lover whether or not their sexual skills are top notch.
They are socially inept
Also not true. I’ve had shy, awkward clients but again – no more than in everyday life. The majority of my clients are very talkative and outgoing. It’s not that they can’t get a woman, or are too awkward around them. Most just don’t want the drama of unpaid companionship.
A day in the life
by Missy on Jun.16, 2009, under Entries
One of the most common questions I get is “what would an average day in your life” be like. So I thought I’d chronicle a day in my life. This isn’t merely an average day, but a real day that happened recently.
9am: I wake up and check my email for questions or Reservation Requests. I answer a few questions, book a potential appointment, and decide to get some more sleep. I had not gotten to bed until close to 4. I know that I have a multi-hour booking at 6pm and I need to be well rested.
Around noon: I get up, have some frosted mini-wheats and start my day. I watch a little Law and Order while sifting through and answering the emails and reservation requests that have filled my inbox. Since I’m currently “on tour” I have more than usual to sort through, mostly questions.

The elephant in the room
by Missy on Apr.14, 2009, under Entries
I promised this entry awhile ago, and I apologise for that. I got a lot busier than I expected, which isn’t really a bad thing.
One of the most common questions I get is, “What about your client’s wives?” It’s a very open ended question, isn’t it? What about my clients wives? Well, what about them? Are they blonde, brunette, skinny, fat, nice, mean? No, that’s not what they’re asking, and I know that. They’re talking about the elephant in the room – the fact that these men are married to other women. The thing that is always there, but rarely spoken about.

The Cost
by Missy on Mar.06, 2009, under Entries
I wanted to make a post about the costs of being a companion. At first this was just going to be about the actual, monetary costs but I wanted to go into some of the non-monetary costs as well.

Hobbyists
by Missy on Mar.04, 2009, under Entries
I’ve had a lot of questions lately about hobbyists. Some have asked why I bother to see them, some ask what they are. So I figured I’d talk about them and review boards a bit.
A hobbyist is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a men who sees providers, as a hobby. Another term for this is pooning. And men who poon are pooners. Some hate this term, some embrace it. Personally I prefer the term “hobbyist” to “pooner”.
A lot of providers won’t see hobbyists. They say it makes them feel cheap, it cheapens what they do and provide, the ridicule they receive from the hobbyists on message boards and review sites isn’t worth the money.

You don’t have to be perfect

to be an escort.
There’s a common misconception that you need to have a stereotypical “pornstar/stripper” body to be a good escort. That’s not the case, and really it’s the beauty of escorting. You DON’T have to look or be airbrushed to be successful.
Are there clients that want nothing but supermodel material? Sure. Looks are helpful, I will not wax poetic about inner beauty taking precedence. Having a nice face and a nice body help attract customers. But clients that only want vapid supermodels are not the majority. The majority have a variety of interests and want anything and everything from students who speak no English to gorgeous BBWs to the “girl next door”.
So what DO you need to be a successful escort?

Sex work and the public opinion
by Missy on Feb.25, 2009, under Entries
I recently was gifted with this book which is supposed to be about the rise and fall of Natalia, an escort that once commanded $2,000 an hour but due to drugs and a shopping addiction she fell from grace.
The book was a huge disappointment and actually really pissed me off. As one of the reviews say, all it did was reinforce the stereotype that sex workers are shopoholic drug addicts. And as we all know, that’s not true. But from what you read in this book it just seems like anyone worth a damn in the industry is living this lifestyle full of careless spending and drug binges. They act like it’s just standard to be a coke addict. Well it’s NOT. Yes, a lot of street workers are addicts…but most streetworkers were addicts who went into working to fund their habit. I’m talking about women who go into sex work voluntarily without an addiction fueling the decision.
Natalia, for example, made well over $10,000 a week. She was a Canadian immigrant to the US. She had no health insurance, no savings, she spent all of the money on clothes and drugs. Literally. And that annoys me, because THESE are the stories you hear about escorts – and strippers as well.
You don’t hear about the ones that fund their masters or even doctorate degrees with the money, or the ones who save wisely and end up with a paid off house and car before age 30. You never hear about the ones that are happy being escorts and do it long term, or the ones who are successful at it. You hear about the ones that have some kind of tragic failure or succumb to addiction or depression. Why? Because if we talked about the people who are HAPPY with sex work, who are in it voluntarily then it would become less taboo. The people against sex work don’t want to hear it. They don’t want to believe, or even face the fact that there are some people who are not mentally ill, who don’t have daddy issues, who aren’t on drugs that actually ENJOY sex work. They especially don’t want to admit that these women could have healthy relationships outside of work, raise normal children. That these women could be their friend or neighbour.

Why are you a sex worker?
A lot of people wonder this. Honestly, it’s a great paying job and a lot of fun. There’s a lot of behind the scene work people don’t think of – social networking, web maintnance, keeping track of reviews, shopping for work supplies, keeping my books up to date, keeping my schedule straight AND the jobs themselves.
Do you enjoy sex?
This was actually best said in White Oleander. Astrid asks Olivia, a high end escort, this exact question. Olivia answers, “You enjoy anything you’re good at, like an ice skater or a poet”. I find this to be true.
What is greek?
Anal sex.
How many people have you slept with?
In my personal life? Over 10, under 20. At work? I think I’m at or just over 100. I don’t count.

Questions asked by readers
by Missy on Feb.05, 2009, under Entries
If you could send a message to yourself at 18, what would it be?
I would have started doing this full time a lot earlier than I did.
Why did you chose this profession?
I kind of fell into it. I had a friend of a friend who was looking for a girl to spend time with him and possibly sleep with him. The money was good and it involved living abroad. I was basically just to play house and trophy (when out). We had sex maybe 3 times and one blowjob in the entire time I lived there. I took away a nice chunk of cash that enabled me to move out on my own when I came back. I did it one more time with a different person for about 9 months and that was it for awhile. I did some nude modelling after that, and a bit of escorting work with an agency. I worked off and on for a few years before finally realising this is my niche. I am now fully independent and full time.
What are some of the worst sexual fetish you’ve seen?
I think I’ve been really lucky on this front – I’ve never been with anyone that had a ‘bad’ fetish honestly.
Do you ever swallow? Or are you too “high class” for that?
I think if you are going to let a man finish in your mouth, spitting is low class. When a man goes down on a woman does he turn his head and spit every time he gets fluid in his mouth? No? Then I personally feel I should extend the same courtesy to men if I am going to allow them to ejaculate in my mouth. If I had no intent on swallowing, I would simply not allow them to finish in my mouth. So yes, I do swallow when I perform oral sex.
How do you see time?
No differently than I did before. I don’t see time as money except when I’m at work.
How do you hide your business?
I don’t really. I lightly blur my photos for a bit of discretion. My close friends know what I do.
